Video: Pen y Fan Hike

Cardiff Met student Rhodri Williams captured the epic hike up Pan y Fen Mountain with his GoPro.

At just under 3,000 feet, this is the highest mountain in South Wales and the jewel in the crown that is the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The summit, marked by a well-preserved Bronze Age cairn, is one of the most popular hikes in Wale, with views of the Bristol Channel, Gower Peninsular and the Cambrian Mountains on a clear day.
